By accessing or using MatchBeats, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• One account per person; sharing accounts is prohibited
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

Content and Music Licensing

⚠️ Important: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use all audio content.MatchBeats is a technical platform only. We do not provide music licensing, and we are not responsible for your use of copyrighted material.

• You must own or have obtained proper licenses for all audio files you upload and use in MatchBeats
• Public performance of copyrighted music may require licenses from organizations like ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC
• You are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions for commercial or public use
• We reserve the right to remove content if we receive a valid copyright infringement notice
• You indemnify MatchBeats against any claims arising from your use of copyrighted material

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Redistribute or resell the service without permission
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the software
• Use automated systems to access the service in ways that send more requests than humanly possible

Subscriptions and Payments

• Subscriptions are billed annually and renew automatically unless cancelled
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support for assistance
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

Service Availability

MatchBeats is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions, especially during live events.

Data Backup

While we maintain regular backups through our Supabase infrastructure, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical audio files and configurations. We recommend exporting your data regularly.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in activities that harm the service or other users. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and we may delete your data after a 30-day grace period.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service as the product evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of MatchBeats after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchBeats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
